Keynote Speaker
Randy Dobbs

Randy Dobbs

Chief Executive Officer, Matrix Medical Network

About the Keynote Speaker:

A CEO of three different companies all valued at over $1 billion, Randy Dobbs started at the bottom with General Electric as an hourly employee. Over the space of 30 years, he rose to become one of 150 corporate officers directing this global entity. In that process, he was one of only two officers to obtain that rank twice during the tenure of Jack Welch. This means he failed and overcame failure, at the highest level, for one of the toughest leaders in corporate America. Randy’s motto is: “I will never give up on whatever I do!” Randy Dobbs career highlights include being the CEO for a GE Capital business, IT Solutions,  a $7 billion business that due to poor leadership had accumulated annual losses exceeding $100.
By 2002, he led the business to profitability and received the GE 2002 Turnaround of the Year Award. In 2003, he became the CEO for Philips Medical Systems North America and successfully integrated a $5 billion group of acquisitions.  Over the next two years, he helped grow revenue by more than 12% and operating income by 30%. Next, Randy moved into the world of private equity and was selected as CEO for US Investigation Services, with more than 7,000 employees where earnings grew by a startling 70% in three years. He has been serving for Welsh, Carson, Anderson and Stowe in various business capacities since then.  Dobbs published his book Transformational Leadership in 2010, and gives seminars across the country. The book provides a blueprint for leaders who want to make a difference for themselves and their coworkers.
